Conocophillips Alaska - Alpine Oil Field, North Slope
Epperheimer Incorporated successfully executed a critical turnaround project at the CD-1 Processing Facility during a highly sensitive 4-week shutdown window. With over a year of advanced planning, our team mobilized 30-39 personnel operating six crews across day and night shifts to complete simultaneous vessel work under demanding schedule constraints.
The project involved abrasive blasting, inspection support, repair preparation, and application of Carboline Plasite 7159 high-abrasion-resistant coatings on five primary process vessels. Due to the facility operating on a single main train, every day of downtime carried significant production impact and lost revenue. Through coordinated execution, around-the-clock operations, and strict schedule adherence, our team helped ConocoPhillips complete the shutdown and return the facility to service two days ahead of schedule.
