Delta Constructors - CPF2 ULSD Tank
Kuparuk Oilfield, North Slope

Epperheimer Incorporated successfully completed the external blasting and coating of a 100-foot diameter by 40-foot tall ULSD storage tank for the new Willow development at the remote CPF-2 Kuparuk facility on Alaska’s North Slope. The project required full scaffolding and environmental containment enclosure systems to ensure blasting operations were conducted safely without impact to the surrounding tundra environment.

Through advanced logistics planning, equipment was mobilized a month ahead of schedule to support timely execution in the remote Arctic location. Our crews performed SSPC-SP6 commercial abrasive blasting followed by application of a multi-coat protective system including Bar-Rust 236 epoxy and Interthane 990 finish coating. Despite challenging access conditions and strict environmental controls, the project was completed safely, on schedule, and under budget
