Epperheimer Incorporated was selected to perform complete refurbishment coating services for two drilling rigs operating on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. The project included abrasive blasting, application of new high-performance external coating systems, and installation of specialized internal tank linings designed to withstand Alaska’s harsh environmental conditions and extend the service life of critical drilling assets.

Work was performed across multiple rig components including skidded modules, control rooms, process equipment, and drilling support systems. In addition to improving long-term corrosion protection and durability, the refurbishment program enhanced overall workplace conditions by providing clean, safe, and well-maintained operating environments for rig personnel. The upgraded rigs continue supporting energy production operations throughout the region.
