Hilcorp - Tyonek Helideck

Epperheimer Incorporated was selected to perform abrasive blasting and protective coating services for the Tyonek Platform new camp installation and refurbishment coating package. The scope included preparation and coating of structural steel, support components, handrails, and the offshore helideck system to meet demanding marine environment specifications.

As part of the project, the helideck was removed from the offshore platform and transported to shore where our team completed 100% abrasive blasting and application of high-performance protective coatings, including specialized non-slip deck coatings and customer-specified helideck stencil markings. Following completion, the helideck was shipped back offshore for reinstallation after the new camp module installation was completed. In addition, all camp handrails and associated structural components were blasted and coated at our coating facility before being delivered offshore for final installation, ensuring long-term durability and corrosion protection in the harsh Cook Inlet environment.
