XTO Energy - Onshore Crude Oil Tanks

Epperheimer Incorporated was awarded the complete protective coating scope for three new crude oil storage tanks supporting production from offshore platforms. The project included abrasive blasting and application of specialized epoxy lining systems to the tank interiors for long-term corrosion protection and hydrocarbon service durability.

Tank exteriors were prepared and coated with a three-coat protective system consisting of zinc primer, epoxy intermediate coat, and a urethane finish coat designed to provide long-term weatherability and UV resistance in Alaska’s demanding coastal environment. Following coating completion, Epperheimer Incorporated also installed all exterior tank decals and identification markings, delivering a fully completed and operational coating package to the customer.
